Each vintage of this wine is dedicated to the people who have inspired, influenced and entertained us – our mates. Inspired by the wines of Beaujolais, Mates is fresh layered and intriguing.
The 2022 Mates is familiar in style to previous releases; fresh and energetic with the signature Aglianico tannin and crisp natural acidity. Overtly floral notes override the subtle dark fruit aromas and compliment the earthy and savoury palate. This is a cracking drink for any occasion, but pairs well with BBQ’d meats & anything Italian.
Cellaring: The Mates is made to enjoy on release but will cellar for up to 10 years.
