In our opinion Grenache is the variety that is most suited to the marginal soils and warm climate of the Barossa Valley.
Introducing Maurice……the brother of Bruce. While Grenache sits quietly alongside its less famous counterpart Shiraz, we hope it’s not too long before this unheralded legend of the Barossa Valley is recognised. We have made it an aspiration to make the best Grenache wines we possibly can and to inspire people to drink more of this underrated varietal.
Vibrant and aromatic with layers of plum, cherry and five spice skirting a core of plush and luxurious Grenache goodness. Dark and concentrated this wine is age worthy.
Cellaring: The Maurice can be enjoyed immediately and should continue to provide gratification over the next decade. Drink Now – 2028. Best between 2021 and 2024.
